The Opportunity YSE Beauty is seeking a talented and highly capable Growth Marketing Manager to support our growing Digital Commerce team. Our ideal candidate is an analytical self-starter with strong attention to detail, a passion for translating data into clear action plans, and an ability to thrive and drive strategy in a fast-paced startup environment. A passion for the beauty industry is a huge plus The Growth Marketing Manager will use data and analytics to optimize/accelerate customer acquisition across our channels. They will also be responsible for driving conversion on our DTC site by enhancing the customer shopping experience – thus playing a pivotal role in driving the success and growth of our e-commerce business. This role will report to the VP of Ecommerce and work closely with leaders across departments including Marketing and Operations. Roles and Responsibilities Customer Acquisition: Own and improve the performance of digital marketing channels Collect, analyze and glean strategic/actionable recommendations from digital marketing channels to be put into practice Measure and report on digital campaign performance. Develop and implement digital demand growth strategies. Oversee paid media ad development, testing, and analysis for performance optimization Work with the creative team to request copy and graphic needs for all digital channels Continuously look for ways to optimize customer acquisition across digital channels Website Operations: Assist with daily website management on Shopify Plus platform, including managing development requests with an eye towards improving conversion and optimal user experience Product page creation, landing page updates, and other day-to-day site tasks Assist with onsite merchandising, including execution of promotions (ie. promo code set up, banner updates, on-page merchandising, pop-ups, landing pages, updating content) Support team with inventory management tasks and operations related projects Monitor site for bugs and partner with cross functional teams to resolve site content and product related issues Continuously look for ways to optimize the website for a best-in-class customer experience Conversion Rate Optimization: Proactively monitor site experience, optimizing products to ensure discoverability and increase conversion rate Use data to apply insights on customer journey and inform site updates Work with SEO, CRO and Development agencies for ongoing A/B testing and evaluation Seek out, demonstrate and utilize knowledge in latest technology and ecommerce trends Continuously look for ways to optimize conversion on our DTC site Reporting and Analytics: Analyze, synthesize and report on data from all digital platforms Update KPI and reporting dashboard Identify opportunities/create strategies that inform testing and feature roadmaps Assist with A/B Testing Conduct competitor analyses Apply knowledge of channel attribution practices to optimize performance of digital media As the owner of our digital data, act as a source of truth and strategic direction for the team with regard to our activities across all digital platforms Cross-functional Team Projects: Collaborate with Marketing / Creative / Operations teams for all on-site activity, ensuring we are executing against marketing calendar and ongoing business needs Facilitate efficiency in internal and external teams’ execution by communicating deadlines and work-back schedules for all ecommerce touchpoints Serve as liaison between YSE Beauty team and outside agencies and consultants including Affiliate Marketing, Web Development, Customer Service, Paid Media, SEO and CRO Retail Onboarding: Experience working with beauty retailers (Sephora, Ulta) is a plus Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Growth Marketing or Ecommerce role (will consider Data Analyst role if coupled with digital marketing experience) Demonstrated experience using knowledge of Ecommerce best practices to create a first class customer experience Demonstrated experience analyzing and interpreting data sets and making strategic recommendations required Demonstrated knowledge of what makes a good online shopping experience and experience utilizing that knowledge to optimize conversion Demonstrated ability to proactively and meticulously identify areas for improvement and flag potential issues before they happen An ability to not just identify problems but propose and drive solutions Meticulously organized and able to work proactively and efficiently both in-person and remotely, independently and collaboratively A roll up your sleeves, entrepreneurial attitude. No task is too big or too small Exceptional project management, communication, and analytical skills Proficiency in using web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to track and analyze website performance Familiarity with data platforms such as GA4 and Triple Whale a huge plus Agency experience a plus Shopify, Klaviyo and Attentive experience preferred, but not required for right candidate Proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets A strong passion or interest in the beauty category strongly preferred YSE Beauty is an equal opportunity employer.
