About the Role
As the SEO Specialist, you will drive SEO strategy and programs (both content and technical) aimed at delivering traffic growth, best practices, reporting, and platform migration for our .com site. You will collaborate with content specialists, the UX team, and our agency to identify content opportunities. Additionally, you will work with internal analytical teams and our agency to create monthly and sometimes weekly reports.
Key Responsibilities
- .com Content: Work with the website content team to recommend and optimize SEO-focused content for mid and long-tail keywords to drive web visitation. Collaborate with the SEO agency team to define and refine SEO content strategy across the company's priority categories.
- Website Re-Platform Project: Represent the company's SEO team in website re-platform work streams. Attend relevant calls to gather information, advise on SEO deliverables, and work with the agency to create required deliverables. Ensure SEO requirements are effectively communicated to implementation teams and that SEO milestones are met.
- Website Reporting: Monitor websites and pages to report on performance, understand the reasons for changes, and make recommendations for improvement. Work with the analytics team to create dashboards that facilitate reporting and insights across international sites. Leverage third-party reporting platforms (e.g., Adobe, GA, Conductor) and internal dashboards to deliver insights that drive optimizations.
- Research and Audits: Conduct research and audits to ensure best practices, understand the competitive landscape, and uncover new opportunities.
Required Skills and Competencies
Technical Skills
- In-depth understanding of SEO landscape and best practices
- Hands-on knowledge and experience with SEO tools and platforms (Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Conductor)
- Knowledge and experience with search marketing (SEO/SEM)
- Experience delivering data and insights to drive SEO optimization
- Awareness of competitive environment to identify opportunities
- Analysis of digital industry trends that may impact strategy
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years in Digital Marketing
- Experience analyzing SEO programs to drive optimization and improvement
- Experience working with DTC e-commerce strategies and driving digital campaign optimizations focused on achieving traffic and revenue targets
- Experience partnering with internal teams and managing external agencies and partners to achieve common targets
- Strong communication and relationship-building experience
- Knowledge of the CE industry is a plus
