The Sr. Manager, Marketing Communications will be responsible for different areas of the marketing communications function including, but not limited to; creative development, public relations, social media management, and media planning. A key responsibility of the role will be partnering with internal stakeholders and external agencies in the development of integrated marketing plans. Candidates should have a deep understanding of marketing tactics and advertising that drives brand love, awareness, consideration and conversation at a restaurant level.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities and strategies based on business objectives and market characteristics to promote products/promos
- Strategize and execute across different areas of business: PR, TV, Radio, Social Media, and Media planning
- Plan and execute media budget by determining channel strategy to maximize plan effectiveness and drive sales and traffic to restaurant
- Execute PR outreach for all restaurant and other initiatives
- Manage the production from conception to distribution of all TV, radio and digital assets, including routine feedback sessions, legal reviews, and final team approvals
- Manage the social media accounts for TH US, including content creation and strategy
- Support new market entry with strategy and execution plans
- Supports creative development of marketing communications programs, managing day-to-day execution of tactics across paid and owned channels that includes briefing, clear feedback, approvals, timeline management and budget tracking
- Partner with all agencies to successfully ideate, create and execute media plans that will support that business on a day-to-day, as well as longer term basis
- Partners with the larger marketing team, and cross functional internal teams to understand communication objectives, timelines and creative framework
- Drives campaign optimization of in market media to ensure that marketing communications is driving maximum results
- Has an understanding of the QSR media landscape and levers, and will work closely with Tims Media and Digital marketing teams to optimize
- Manage, protect and champion the brand positioning, voice, identity and promise
- Support the development of annual marketing plans and budgets against defined acquisition KPIs
- Leads budgeting and invoice payment for vendor/agency-related work
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations or related field
- 2+ years of progressive brand marketing experience, ideally in QSR, agency or a related field
- Experience marketing products in an innovative digital and offline space
- Ability to prioritize and deliver multiple tasks and projects effectively within a defined timeline
- Ability to thrive and succeed in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Has strong attention-to-detail, advanced written and verbal communication skills, strong copy-editing and ability to judge creative and articulate constructive feedback to both internal and external partners in service of the creative vision
- Demonstrate meticulous follow-through and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Must have the ability to interface and maintain excellent professional relationships with a variety of audiences to include internal partners, agencies, vendors and internal teams
- Highly organized with an ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
