Altrata is looking for a content marketer that has experience building a content strategy and executing against it to drive growth for the company.
The ideal candidate can manage B2B content strategy across a wide range of audiences and initiatives, with an emphasis on engagement, acquisition, retention, and upsell across the Altrata suite of solutions.
We are looking for an individual that can lead an audit of the content ecosystem, identify opportunities and gaps, build content prototypes, and editorial calendars that give us a path forward. We need someone who can manage multiple projects at once, work with freelance writers and agencies keeping them on track, on time and on budget. We need someone who can build a content strategy from the top of the funnel to the bottom, designed to move prospects from website visitors to new business opportunities.
Key responsibilities include
- Developing and executing a content marketing strategy designed to move prospects from site visitors to closed deals
- Ensure on page SEO best practices are followed
- Manage external writers and agencies from the research and briefing stage all the way through to feedback, approval routing and website publishing
- Engaged internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify compelling stories, entice external customers and experts to inform content strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and align content with marketing campaigns, thought leadership releases and product launches
- Consistently measure content success and continually optimize campaigns to drive better results.
- Identify speaking opportunities, guest blogging, and industry partnerships to increase brand visibility, credibility and to amplify the Altrata story
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify content opportunities and stay ahead in the market
- Work with design teams to build visual assets needed to bring content to life
Altrata’s ideal content marketing manager
- More than three years of content marketing experience
- Must be an excellent writer and editor with the ability to turn long form content into snippets that can be used in campaign
- Has experience managing agencies and writers
- Have executive presence, good meeting management skills and poses the ability to switch gears quickly and without pause
- Has an experimental mindset and a desire to test and learn.
- Has some PR experience or basic knowledge of PR best practices, leveraging the media to tell our story by using compelling insight and attention-grabbing headlines
- The ability to work well with white space and experience collaborating with others
- Experience with Google Analytics, Salesforce and WordPress or similar tools is preferred
- Candidates need to demonstrate their ability to think quick on their feet, comfort with evolving priorities and the ability to infuse the brand strategy throughout their work
- Background in tech or B2B SaaS is a plus!

We are a globally distributed team but easy access to NYC would be ideal for this role as you will be working with many individuals who visit the New York office a few times a month.
