This role can be done remotely from home within the US.
The Global Social Media Manager role contributes to building and implements the organic social strategy to create memorable content, drive audience engagement, and bring the Sonos brand to life on social channels. You will be directly responsible for the brand’s presence on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and X. The ideal candidate is tapped into social trends and deeply understands the power of storytelling to reach and inspire customers and new audiences alike.
What You’ll Do
- Participate in the development of a holistic social media strategy that aligns with the company’s marketing and business objectives
- Develop an impactful editorial calendar that incorporates consumer understanding, seasonality, maximized organic media, community engagement, and brand health metrics
- Partner closely with internal creative team and external partners to foster a collaboration that delivers high quality, impactful creative work
- Collaborate across functions and markets, to develop highly effective, creatively excellent social media marketing campaigns
- Oversee Sonos community management efforts, partnering with Sonos Customer Service and Community teams to celebrate and encourage positive community outcomes and offer helpful service to customers who are experiencing issues or require deeper technical support
- Lead social listening and analytics to measure the success of campaigns and use data and insights to identify areas for improvement
- Manage and track social media budgets and ensure effective budget use, and partner with the Director, Global Owned Media to ensure timely and accurate budget forecasting, deliver agency SOWs and contracts with partners
What You’ll Need
Basic Qualifications:
- 8+ years of relevant work experience in Social Media
- 2+ years of managerial experience (teams and agency partners)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience partnering with PR and Paid Media teams to build dynamic plans that support overall marketing campaigns
- Demonstrated strategic thinking skills and an ability to turn a brand strategy into a narrative that is relevant to consumers
- Comfort in ambiguity and a willingness to to be entrepreneurial in your thinking - big picture and attention to detail
- Outstanding communication skills -- in person and in writing, your knowledge, expertise, creativity & agility inspire the confidence & followership of diverse audiences, including senior leadership

At Sonos we consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, which may lead individual compensation to vary depending on job related qualifications, skills, and experience. All full time employees are eligible for merit increases, discretionary bonuses, and equity. Our job postings may span more than one career level and the base pay range may be modified in the future based on changing market conditions. The starting base pay for this role for all US candidates is between:
$125,000 and $139,100
