Position Overview:
We are seeking an innovative and organized Assistant Creative Director to support our design team in delivering high-quality, visually compelling creative work for Amazon, Walmart other eCommerce platforms. This role involves assisting the Creative Director in coordinating design projects, ensuring brand consistency, managing a global team of designers, and bringing creative ideas to life across various media. The Assistant Creative Director will play a vital role in maintaining project timelines, supporting concept development, and overseeing the production of creative assets that align with our brand strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Support the Creative Director in planning, scheduling, and managing multiple design projects from concept through execution.
- Coordinate project timelines, manage resources, and track progress to ensure all projects meet deadlines.
- Communicate and collaborate with internal teams to align project scope, deliverables, and brand objectives.
Design Oversight:
- Work closely with designers to ensure design consistency, quality, and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Review and provide constructive feedback on design work, ensuring high standards are met for all creative outputs.
- Assist in the development of creative concepts, graphics, and layouts for marketing materials, digital assets, presentations, and other collateral.
Team Collaboration & Leadership:
- Lead brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas that align with overall brand direction.
- Mentor and support junior designers, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Serve as a point of contact for design queries and troubleshoot any design challenges that may arise.
Quality Control:
- Oversee the accuracy and quality of creative files taxonomy.
- Ensure all creative outputs meet industry standards, are error-free, and align with the company’s quality expectations.
Brand Management:
- Assist in maintaining and evolving brand guidelines to ensure consistent brand messaging across all design outputs.
- Monitor design trends and make recommendations for innovative approaches that align with brand objectives and industry standards.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to understand project requirements and deliver objectives.
- Present and articulate creative ideas, both visually and verbally, to the team and forward facing to clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in graphic design, with at least two years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Professional graphic design experience, preferably focusing on eCommerce and digital platforms.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Canva and other graphic design software.
- Strong understanding of design principles, branding, typography, and layout.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and resources effectively with Monday.com or Asana.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Portfolio displaying a range of high-quality design work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within a fast-paced agency or corporate environment.
- Familiarity with motion graphics, video editing software, or web design is a plus.
- Strong critical thinking skills and a proactive approach to creative challenges.
