What You'll Do:
The Head of Growth Marketing at ShipperHQ will lead the development and execution of growth strategies, collaborating closely with Sales, Product, and Partnerships teams. This role requires a leader with hands-on expertise in B2B digital marketing, a deep understanding of the shipping and logistics ecosystem, and a strategic, customer-centric approach. You’ll spearhead efforts to drive pipeline growth, optimize marketing channels, and refine our go-to-market strategies across different channels and markets. You’ll lead a team of 4 marketers across email marketing, content marketing, social media, and product marketing.
Your Impact:
- Growth Strategy Development: Design, execute, and scale data-driven growth strategies across customer acquisition, retention, and expansion, ensuring alignment with business goals
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Product, and Partnerships teams to drive cohesive marketing and sales alignment, identify growth opportunities, and create tailored marketing initiatives
- Digital Channel Management: Own digital channels (paid search, social media, email, SEO, and content marketing), continuously optimizing for ROI, targeting, and audience segmentation
- Customer Lifecycle Marketing: Develop and execute lifecycle marketing strategies, nurturing leads through the buyer journey from awareness through retention
- Demand Generation & Pipeline Growth: Build and manage demand generation programs that drive MQLs and support pipeline goals, working closely with Sales and Partnerships
- Data & Analytics: Monitor and analyze performance metrics across all growth marketing efforts, providing actionable insights and adjusting strategies based on results
- Product-Led Growth Initiatives: Implement product-led growth tactics, including in-app messaging, freemium, and trial conversion strategies to boost activation rates and drive adoption
- Content and Thought Leadership: Lead content initiatives that position ShipperHQ as a thought leader in the logistics and eCommerce space, working with internal teams and partners to create high-impact content
- Team Leadership & Development: Manage and mentor a growth-focused marketing team, fostering a culture of experimentation, agility, and accountability
- Market & Competitor Analysis: Conduct competitive research to stay on top of industry trends and inform growth marketing strategies
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: 8+ years leading teams and driving pipelines in growth marketing, demand generation, and/or digital marketing, with experience leading teams in high-growth SaaS, logistics, or eCommerce tech industries
- Deep Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the shipping and logistics ecosystem, including key trends, customer needs, and industry challenges
- Analytical Expertise: Strong command of marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.) and the ability to translate complex data into strategic insights
- Digital Marketing Mastery: Demonstrated experience with multi-channel digital marketing strategies, including paid acquisition, SEO, email, content, and social media
- Product-Led Growth Knowledge: Familiarity with PLG strategies and tactics, with proven experience boosting trial conversions and driving user adoption
- Creative & Strategic Mindset: Ability to generate innovative growth ideas and the strategic know-how to execute them with measurable outcomes
- Collaboration: Exceptional ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Partnerships teams to achieve shared goals
- Leadership: Proven track record of building and leading high-performing growth marketing teams, with a focus on coaching, mentorship, and development
- Additional Skills:
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience leading small teams
- Expertise in testing and experimenting to optimize marketing outcomes

Logistics:
- This is a full-time position working out of our Austin, TX office 2 days a week
- Compensation is based on experience
