Job Title: Manager, Creative Excellence Activation
Location: Cambridge, MA (Hybrid) 2-3 day in office
Work Schedule: M-F 9 am - 5 pm core hours, with flexibility for additional hours
Type: Contract position with potential for Opella shift (not a bridge to Sanofi)
Position Overview
As the Manager of Creative Excellence Activation, you will drive and elevate the creative vision for the Opella brand portfolio, a subset of Sanofi’s broader business. This role is responsible for bringing innovative, culturally relevant ideas to life while managing the brand’s public relations strategies. In partnership with cross-functional teams and agency partners, you will shape Opella’s brand presence by influencing creative development and managing complex, senior-level relationships. Key Responsibilities
Creative Excellence
- Drive creative excellence across consumer touchpoints for Opella brands, ensuring best-in-class, on-brand, and culturally relevant content.
- Inspire and guide internal teams and agencies to foster a future-focused, social-first creative approach.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to act as the Content & Creative lead, ensuring alignment across Experience Planning, Martec, and CMI teams.
- Provide analysis and insights to refine creative work for optimal impact, driving brand relevance and cultural fit.
- Manage agency relationships, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content within budget.
Brand Public Relations (PR)
- Lead the strategic development and execution of PR initiatives for Opella brands, enhancing brand awareness and cultural resonance.
- Work closely with Brand teams and agency partners on creative development and campaign execution, ensuring synergy across brand touchpoints.
- Oversee day-to-day agency management, including budget oversight, timelines, and strategy execution.
- Collaborate on award submissions and external recognition opportunities across Creativity, PR, and Innovation categories with agency and communication leaders.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5-10 years in consumer packaged goods (CPG) or OTC/pharmaceutical marketing, preferably with agency or brand management experience.
- Creative & Content Development: Strong background in creative processes, including briefing, feedback, production, and rights management.
- Public Relations Expertise: Deep understanding of PR principles and how they support broader business goals.
- Project Management: Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Social Media & Digital Experience: Familiarity with all paid/earned/owned platforms (Facebook/Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest) and content for Brand/Retail.com and eCommerce.
- Stakeholder Management: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to manage complex relationships at senior levels.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to inspire cross-functional teams and lead agency partners effectively.
- Creative Mindset: Passion for modern, creative marketing and cultural influence.
