Position Overview
Are you a dynamic marketing leader with a passion for innovation and a deep understanding of the fast-casual restaurant industry? Founders Table Restaurant Group is seeking an experienced Vice President of Brand Marketing to join our team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our efforts to shape the customer experience through strategic menu development, product innovation, and insights-driven decision-making. You will lead a talented marketing team, champion brand management, and collaborate across departments to ensure our brands remain leaders in the industry.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in restaurant marketing, emphasizing the utilization of customer insights and digital marketing strategies, building brand loyalty, increasing sales, driving traffic, and fostering customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive brand marketing strategies to increase brand visibility and market share in both existing and new markets.
- Lead efforts to position our brands as leaders in the fast-casual industry, ensuring consistency across all channels and touchpoints.
- Identify and leverage new opportunities for brand expansion and partnerships that align with company goals.
- Ensure all marketing campaigns set our brands apart from competitors.
- Analyze market trends and consumer insights to craft strategies that resonate with target audiences.
- Develop and manage a multi-channel marketing plan that encompasses digital, social, and traditional media.
- Work closely with the culinary team to conceptualize and launch new menu items that align with brand identity and drive sales growth.
- Ensure that product development efforts are informed by customer insights and market research to create offerings that capture market share and foster customer loyalty.
- Own consumer research for the brand in order to gather actionable feedback.
- Present the voice of the consumer in all meetings, ensuring that the consumer is front and center in all decisions.
- Oversee the go-to-market strategy for new products, ensuring successful product launches and sustained market impact.
- Set clear objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the marketing team, regularly assessing performance to drive continuous improvement.
- Implement best practices to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve business goals.
- Build a local store marketing (LSM) capability for our brands, deepening the brands’ connection with the communities in which it operates.
- Manage and mentor the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability.
- Identify and develop high-potential team members, providing opportunities for professional growth and career advancement.
- Ensure the marketing team is equipped with the necessary skills and resources to execute world-class marketing campaigns that achieve business objectives.
- It’s a hybrid job but we ultimately want someone who is either living in NY already or close enough that they can be in person more often than not or willing to relocate to NYC
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field and 10+ years experience in a fast-paced consumer-oriented marketing environment with demonstrated success of building strong brands, MBA a plus, strong preference for restaurant marketing experience
- Strong understanding of consumer behaviour and the ability to translate insights into actionable marketing strategies that drive revenues and grow customer value.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with an eye for great storytelling and visuals.
- A collaborative and results-oriented leader with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Experience working for both a large enterprise and either a start-up or high-growth organization is a plus.
- Excellent organizational leadership skills. Ability to work collaboratively with peers, direct reports and external partners.
- Hands-on experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns
- Experience utilizing data and measurement to drive decisions
- Experience in PR/communication strategy and media planning
- A proactive problem solver with a strong work ethic
- Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities.
- Experience with restaurant brands or multi-unit operations is highly desirable.
Compensation Range
$225,000 to $275,000K commensurate with experience
