INTERN – Social Media Marketing

Description Of Duties
- Work with Nintendo’s Social Media Marketing team to reach audiences outside of core gamers, including kids and parents
- Support creation of content, channel optimization, and reporting/analytics with agency and internal partners
- Identify areas for improvement—from internal operations to channel management—and share with key stakeholders
- Serve as a social media expert, maintaining a cutting edge understanding of best practices, features, strategies, and tactics
- Support administrative day-to-day operations including content approval routing, copywriting, and testing
- Provide key insights to impact future expanded-audience content through a data driven approach
Summary Of Requirements
- 3.0+ GPA
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program with a graduation conferral date between May 2025 and June 2026
- Pursuing a degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business Management, or related field
- Ability to work with a variety of individuals across the organization
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, ambiguous environment
- Creative presentation building skills using PowerPoint
- Familiarity with creating social content, writing post copy, building social media editorial calendars, scheduling posts
- Understanding of all social media platforms, including but not limited to YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, Discord, Reddit, and Tumblr – both as a marketer and as a user
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Able to work 40 hours a week onsite throughout the course of the 10-week summer internship between June – September
This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time. Housing and travel support will be provided for non-local hires.
This internship includes a base pay range of $25 per hour, paid sick and safe time, and perks such as a local transit pass and access to the onsite fitness center. Given the limited duration of the role, interns are not eligible for full-time employee benefits such as healthcare or 401(k).
