The
Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) leads our digital marketing efforts, encompassing content creation, digital advertising, SEO, and social media management. He/She will develop and execute innovative content marketing strategies to enhance our online presence, drive traffic, and increase conversions, while maintaining the integrity and voice of our brand across all digital platforms.
The CMO provides overall vision, leadership, strategy, and execution of all marketing programs and initiatives of the organization. He/She develops an end-to-end marketing function that delivers messaging, branding, digital presence, product support, demand generation, content, research, and thought leadership. The CMO partners with line of business leaders to ensure marketing programs and advertising expenditures support company revenue and growth objectives. He/She builds and develops the teams and technology required to collect, test, measure, and analyze marketing metrics necessary to identify trends in the marketplace, program effectiveness, and consumer behavior. The CMO identifies potential markets, customer segments, and products to explore.
Job Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement an integrated digital marketing strategy that combines content marketing, paid media, SEO, email marketing, and social media efforts. Align these strategies with the overall business objectives to drive growth and brand consistency.
- Content Oversight: Oversee the creation, distribution, and management of engaging, high-quality content across multiple platforms, including blogs, videos, podcasts, and social media. Ensure content is optimized for search engines and user engagement.
- Campaign Management: Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across various channels, measuring and analyzing their effectiveness to maximize ROI. Adjust strategies in real-time based on analytics and industry trends.
- Team Management: Lead a team of marketing professionals, including content creators, SEO specialists, and digital advertisers. Foster a collaborative environment, provide ongoing feedback, and encourage professional development.
- Budget and Resource Allocation: Manage the digital marketing budget, allocating resources efficiently to various channels and projects. Ensure cost-effective spending that meets strategic goals.
- Analytics and Reporting: Utilize analytics tools to track campaign performance, website traffic, and engagement metrics. Provide regular reports to senior management detailing successes, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
- Innovation and Trends: Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing. Implement innovative practices and tools that can enhance the effectiveness of our digital marketing efforts.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field; a Master’s degree is a plus
- 10+ years’ experience in digital marketing with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and content marketing strategies
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns
- Excellent analytical skills with experience in SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media analytics; must have exceptional knowledge of ROAS
- Strong leadership skills with experience building, managing, and motivating a team
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
Compensation: Salary + Performance-Based Bonus, Comprehensive Benefits Package. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the range listed above.
