Senior Marketing Strategy Manager - CMO Telecommunications Group

Working Model: Hybrid- in office 2 days per week
Occasional travel to Basking Ridge, NJ for meetings (1-2 per month)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Strategy Manager to join our CMO Telecommunications Group / Brand team. This role will partner with an Associate Director to drive strategic positioning, messaging, and holistic marketing plans across VBG Enterprise, Public Sector, VBG Brand, and Telecommunication Network Sponsorship initiatives (including Superbowl/NFL integration).
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with management to drive integration across CMO and agency teams, shaping strategic development aligned with core business objectives, insights, and data
- Lead strategic planning, communication, presentations, and deliverables
- Coordinate execution of strategic initiatives with internal creative teams and agency partners
- Manage and optimize strategic messaging performance
- Present and defend creative messaging and strategy to stakeholders at various levels
- Collaborate with PMO and Agency teams to ensure adherence to schedules and budgets
- Drive brand consistency across multiple customer touchpoints
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong business analytical skills with ability to synthesize data at micro and macro levels
- Excellence in interpersonal, verbal, and written communication
- Proven experience in presenting to leadership and public speaking
- Demonstrated ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced environments
- Track record of developing and implementing successful integrated communications programs
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in marketing strategy, specifically in B2B, B2C, or complex markets
- Proven success in managing and leading through rapid change
- Strategic mindset with ability to inspire and direct teams/agency partners
- Experience taking calculated risks and defending strategic decisions
