Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate and assess strategies to improve customer retention through loyalty rewards and membership programs.
- Formulate and execute a holistic sales strategy that aligns with business goals and market dynamics.
- Establish a lead generation framework across diverse media channels, including social media, public relations, and community events.
- Collaborate with the sales manager to set ambitious sales targets and develop strategic plans for achieving revenue objectives.
- Recruit, train, and motivate high-performing sales teams, promoting a culture of excellence through coaching and guidance.
- Drive B2B and B2C sales initiatives to surpass revenue targets, expand market share, and enhance customer acquisition and retention rates.
- Build and maintain robust customer relationships, negotiate contracts, and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Optimize sales processes and systems to enhance productivity and ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline management.
- Analyze sales data to track performance, discern trends, and provide informed recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to harmonize sales efforts with organizational objectives.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to unveil opportunities for differentiation and sustain a competitive advantage.
- Develop and deliver training programs to empower the sales team with essential skills for effective customer engagement.

Required Skills
- Proven experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in the capacity of VP of Marketing, VP of Sales, or a senior sales/marketing position.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a talent for inspiring and motivating sales teams.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, employing a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, fostering effective relationship-building and negotiation.
- Familiarity with sales operations, CRM systems, and performance analysis tools; knowledge of Triple Seat, Toast, or HubSpot is advantageous.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
- Willingness to travel across Northern California and potential future locations.
Qualifications
- A degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred, but your experience and achievements are paramount.
- A solid track record of success in senior sales or marketing roles, particularly within the hospitality, restaurant, or service sectors, especially in multi-unit or multi-market scenarios.
