GRO, a full-service digital marketing and creative agency with offices in Detroit, Nashville, and Tuscaloosa, is seeking a Jr. Digital Marketing Specialist (DMS) to join our team.
The Jr. DMS will aid the DMS team as needed on assigned accounts. This position will assist in the development and execution of digital marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive traffic, and generate leads. The ideal candidate is someone looking to grow their career in digital marketing and gain hands-on experience in various marketing channels. The Jr. DMS will report to the Director of Paid Media and will carry out best practices for their department.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and managing digital marketing campaigns across various platforms including social media, email, and paid advertising.
- Support DMS, Senior DMS, and Digital Marketing Team Lead with tasks and optimizations when needed.
- Effectively manage budgets throughout the month.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to provide informed recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to client accounts and activities.
Skills & Qualifications
- 1+ years of digital marketing experience which could include creating and managing paid search, display, and social campaigns.
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing concepts and tools (SEO, PPC, email marketing, social media).
- Working knowledge of digital marketing platforms (Facebook Ads, Google Ads, email marketing, programmatic).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Leverage available resources to pursue solutions to problems.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn.
- Previous internship or experience in digital marketing is a plus.
