Are you a motivated self-starter with a passion for digital marketing and content creation? Our client who is a leader in the retailer space is looking for a detail-oriented, agile thinker to join the email team as a
Junior Email Marketing Specialist. In this role, you'll be a key contributor to email and digital initiatives, helping to create engaging, on-brand content that drives traffic and supports business goals.
As a Digital Marketing Associate, you will collaborate closely with the Email Supervisor and Media Performance team to execute weekly email campaigns, ensure flawless execution, and maintain organization of all email assets. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and has a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing email and digital content aligned with business priorities and sales performance.
- Collaborate with the Email Supervisor and Media Performance team to oversee the creative and production process for weekly email campaigns, delivering compelling content.
- Provide direction and support to the team's co-op, fostering growth and learning.
- Manage creative calendars, organize email assets, maintain the "Week at a Glance" document, and QA emails for accuracy.
- Create clear, strategically sound briefs and offer direct feedback to guide creative execution.
- Stay up-to-date on email marketing trends, best practices, and the competitive landscape.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of brand marketing experience (email experience is a plus).
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on brief writing and creative feedback.
- Team player with the ability to build relationships across disciplines and navigate team dynamics.
- Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail.
- Problem-solving skills with a flexible, agile approach in a fast-paced setting.
