About The Role & Program
ABC Entertainment develops and produces compelling programming and some of the most successful talked-about series on television today! The ABC Entertainment Publicity department is responsible for handling all communication efforts for ABC Primetime, Daytime and Late-Night programming. As the ABC Entertainment Publicity intern, you would assist the department in all areas.
What You Will Do
- Support numerous leaders and project work across the ABC Entertainment Publicity team.
- Build and maintain schedules and press lists; assist in writing press releases, loglines and bios
- Curate and disseminate information to team, including daily press headlines tracking
- Send materials to press
- Support team at publicity and related events
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and publicity strategy meetings
- Collaborate on social media efforts
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Excellent writing, verbal and interpersonal communication skills working with colleagues across departments at all levels
- Hardworking, proactive, eager to learn and willing to take initiative
- Strong attention to detail, well organized, with positive relationship building skills
- Ability to take direction from multiple partners, balance projects, prioritize tasks while working in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-based environment.
- Knowledgeable about social media
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Previous media/PR internship experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs; Google Docs
Education
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
- A student studying in their senior year or a recent graduate within 6 months of graduation date
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
- Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
Additional Information
- Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
- The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 through June 2025
- Availability to work full-time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship. Schedule is 9am-6pm PT, Monday – Friday, in the Burbank office four days per week, and may include some nights/weekends.
- Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Burbank, CA area
- Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work

The pay rate for this role in California is $22.00 per hour.
