Job Description
Vertically-integrated Cannabis Operator is currently seeking a new Marketing Manager to join their team in New York. The Marketing Manager will lead the execution of brand development and product initiatives focusing on community building and delivering impactful programs to enhance awareness, engagement and loyalty. You will have the opportunity to work in one of the most important cannabis emerging markets.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments.
- Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration.
- Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies.
- Help develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public-facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets.
- Conceptualize and execute on multichannel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging in all channels.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- 5+ years of experience in product or retailer marketing.
- Proven experience working in the Adult-Use and Medicinal cannabis markets.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and executing marketing strategies that drive product growth.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and make data-driven decisions.
