As a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) we are looking for a Global Marketing, M&A Director (m/f/d), to co-own the overall development of the SLT team and the overall growth & scalability of the organization.

Your main objectives/tasks:

Serve as a member of the Ohly SLT, embodying and promoting Ohly values.
Talent Acquisition: Select and hire top talent and subject matter experts to build a high-performing team.
Safeguard Ohly commercial interests through effective collaboration with internal and external partners.
Team Development: Develop and coach team members to achieve ambitious targets and foster rapid growth.
Collaborate with the Global Leadership Team to develop and implement a global market and segment strategy.
Execute global go-to-market strategies, product launches, and marketing mix in partnership with platforms.
Lead global processes for product portfolio management, including pruning, gap identification, and driving price/margin target programs.
Sustainability Initiatives: Develop and drive Ohly’s global sustainability strategy and related go-to-market initiatives.
Engage in customer and market activities, co-chair new business initiatives, and drive strategic thinking and execution.
Drive digital marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility, customer engagement, and market reach.
Monitor relevant KPIs, derive actionable insights, and build a strong personal network within Ohly, ABF(I), and other key communities.
Support organizational and cultural change to enhance cooperation within the platform business model.
Guide product positioning, marketing mix, competitor analysis, pricing strategies, CRM management, and market opportunity evaluation.
Lead ad-hoc business development projects, including M&A opportunities, strategic investments, key product and marketing launches, and other critical development initiatives.

Your Profile:

Business degree (MBA) or similar university degree
Over 15 years of professional experience in relevant sectors (food ingredients, fermentation, IP-driven/differentiated business models)
Over 10 years of Commercial/Marketing experience in smaller/mid-sized organizations.
Proven experience in start-ups and building high-performing teams
Strong expertise in consumer-driven industries with a focus on customer centricity
Strong entrepreneurial and risk-taking spirit, able to balance risks and opportunities effectively
More than 10 years of leadership and team-building expertise & high degree of leadership skills; a team builder and coach
Excellent communication skills with both employees and customers & proficiency in multiple languages, with English as a minimum
Extensive experience in strategy development and successful execution
Long-term project management and business steering capabilities
