Our company is looking for a dedicated Designer and Social Media Specialist to join our full service marketing agency.
You will be responsible for maintaining editorial calendars and scheduling posts to increase visibility. You will also measure and monitor key performance indicators and conduct social media research to understand the audience’s needs.
Ultimately, the perfect candidate for this position should have strong knowledge of social media, exceptional graphic and web design skills, as well as outstanding communication, creativity, organization, and collaboration skills.
You also will be responsible for supporting Paid Social with administrative duties and responsibilities.
- Social Media Designer Duties & Responsibilities:Create engaging and visually appealing content for social media platforms for our clients
- Develop pages, posts, and applications to appeal to the target audience
- Brainstorm ideas for posts with clients and create graphics, visuals, and videos to accompany them
- Collaborate with Social Media Manager and other professionals to develop campaigns on social platforms
- Establish and implement strategies for driving and increasing online traffic
- Measure and monitor key performance indicators
- Conduct social media research to gather ideas and understand the audience’s needs
- Monitor and optimize the company’s website and social media pages
- Maintain editorial calendars and schedule posts to increase visibility
- Ensure online content complies with the company’s image and standards
- Develop and create other content for other departments
- Administrative duties to support the full Social Team, including supporting Paid Social
- Social Media Designer Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in marketing, graphic design, or a similar field
- Work experience in similar positions (Graphic Designer, Social Media Assistant, etc)
- Experience creating posts, visuals, and videos for social media
- Understanding of social media principles and concepts
- Knowledge of tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, etc
