Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to assume the role of Vice President of Marketing and Sales. This pivotal position is designed for an innovative marketing leader who will play a significant role in enhancing our marketing capabilities through strategic investments in human resources, processes, and technology. As the VP of Marketing and Sales, you will spearhead a sophisticated growth strategy, establishing a strong B2B technology framework and refining the overall marketing operations, including CRM systems and a unified marketing automation platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Marketing Operations Strategy, creating a strategic roadmap to drive impactful B2B marketing initiatives aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee the implementation of the global marketing automation platform, acting as the chief product owner and coordinating with external partners for seamless integration.
- Optimize the customer experience by managing the end-to-end customer journey, identifying growth opportunities, and addressing potential risks across all channels.
- Design and implement high-impact marketing campaigns tailored to effectively engage target audiences and optimize customer journeys from acquisition to conversion.
- Establish and maintain performance tracking dashboards to measure key metrics for Demand Generation, Sector Marketing, and executive reporting.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the marketing technology stack, ensuring it supports the evolving needs of Demand Generation and Sector Marketing.
- Collaborate with data and analytics teams to ensure accurate reporting on marketing initiatives, promoting data-driven decision making.
- Develop comprehensive training materials and documentation to standardize processes and support sector marketing teams in maintaining data integrity.
- Streamline operations to enhance scalability while minimizing over-customization of systems and processes.
- Lead and cultivate a high-performing marketing operations team to respond to the organization’s changing requirements.
Required Skills
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing operations, with at least 7 years in a dedicated marketing operations role and 3 years in a managerial position.
- Proven expertise in implementing multiple enterprise-level marketing automation platforms tailored to diverse branding needs.
- Demonstrated capability in designing and optimizing technology stacks for large organizations.
- Strong leadership skills paired with a strategic vision and the ability to execute effectively.
- An analytical mindset adept at managing complex projects, prioritizing tasks, and meeting tight deadlines.
- Experience in change management and organizational transformation initiatives.
Qualifications
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent professional experience.
- Preferred experience includes familiarity with platforms such as Dynamics 365, Marketo Engage, HubSpot Marketing, and Terminus.
