Mr. Cooper is looking for an Sr. Marketing Operation Developer to join our Originations Marketing Team. The ideal candidate will have an immediate connection to Mr. Cooper’s core values: Challengers of Convention, Champions for our Customers, and Cheerleaders for our Team.
This candidate will enjoy a fast-paced financial services environment company with over 6 million customers. This leader must be a high-energy and action-focused driver of results and revenue with a deep understanding of mortgage product marketing.
The Sr. Marketing Operation Developer is responsible for develop programs to execute marketing campaigns. S/he will be responsible for customer segmentation, campaign test design and campaign execution. The ideal candidate possesses a unique blend of business ownership, marketing and operations acumen, agility, and communication skills. This individual also excels in operations that enable predictability, scalability and efficiency. This role requires a deep understanding of data modeling, system architecture, and data movement optimization.
Primary day-to-day responsibilities:
• Partner with marketing channel owners to plan and execute marketing strategies.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and strive for marketing optimization and operational excellence.
• Constantly drive process excellence to ensure legal, regulatory compliance.
• Improve the performance of existing automation and algorithms.
• Manage project delivery in a timely manner.
• Outstanding oral/written communication. Excellent communication skills to “tell a story”.
• Highly self-motivated, personally accountable, and adaptive with an ability to drive timelines and manage competing agendas
• Strong team player with ability to develop effective working relationships across organization: Finance, Loan servicing, Sales, Operations, IT.
• Ability to connect dots and play in white space
Education/Training Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Database Design/Management, Information System, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience in database marketing.
• Mortgage experience is a plus.
• Expert Level in MS SQL Server, Store Procedure, Visual Studio is required.
• Prefer working knowledge of HCL Unica suites, including Unica Campaign, Unica Interact, Unica Journey.
Travel Required
Less than 10% travel for agency visits, conferences, and skills development.
