JOB TITLE: Manager, Digital Marketing

OVERVIEW
The Manager of Digital Marketing leads the day-to-day operations and communications of Summer Fridays’ digital channels including paid media on Google, Meta, TikTok and other social channels, as well as the affiliate marketing program. This role works hand-in-hand with external agency partners to manage ad content, create growth and acquisition strategies and identify new opportunities for the brand.
This position utilizies a full-funnel approach to digital marketing. The ideal candidate is strategic and results driven and has demonstrated beauty/CPG experience. They have a proven track record for meeting and exceeding digital marketing KPIs. They also are detail-oriented, highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects and timelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Agency Management: Oversee external digital marketing partners, including paid media agency, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and execution of marketing strategies while managing performance and deliverables
- Affiliate Marketing: Work with partners to ideate, review and implement affiliate marketing strategies to expand reach and drive sales
- Work closely with agency partners and key stakeholders to create comprehensive short-term and long-term acquisition strategies for paid social channels including, but not limited to Google, Meta and TikTok – focused on CAC and First Order Profitability
- End-to-end management of paid media and affiliate creative, including, but not limited to identifying needs, creative briefing, timeline management and trafficking
- Oversee day-to-day execution of each paid media and affiliate channels to drive customer acquisition and demand for SummerFridays.com
- Manage project timelines, budgets and resources effectively; identify and mitigate risks to project delivery
- Implement strategic initiatives, conduct competitive analysis, identify risk and reward opportunities, report on key metrics and actionable insights
- Track live assets across channels and implement refreshes to avoid customer fatigue
- Cross-collaborate with Brand Marketing, Influencer,Social and Creative teams to maximize content and align marketing efforts with overall business goals
- RFP and onboard international paid media partners; partner with agency and key stakeholders to develop global paid media strategy
- Prepare regular reports on marketing performance to effectively communicate channel performance and test learnings while identifying trends and areas for optimization
- Manage paid media roadmap inclusive of ideation, budget allocation, creative development, campaign builds, ongoing management/monitoring, goal pacing, optimization, and reporting for new campaigns, testing, new channel exploration and product launches
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5-years’ experience in Paid Media and Digital Marketing
- BA/BS in Marketing, Business Admin, Computer Science or equivalent
- Deep understanding of the beauty consumer; passion for skincare/makeup is a plus!
- Ability to analyze data and draw conclusions/insights from it
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Eager, can-do, positive attitude
- Self-starter, able to execute upon multiple projects and against tight deadlines
- Exceptional communication skills
- Collaborative, open-minded and able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
- Proficiency in Marketing Analytics tools (ex. TripleWhale, Meta, Google Analytics, Google Ads, TikTok ads manager, etc.)
- Familiarity with digital platforms such as Shopify Plus, Klaviyo, Attentive, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, Microsoft Ads, Yotpo
- Experience with paid advertising via Google, Bing, Meta, YouTube, TikTok, Snap and Pinterest
