Job Purpose
The world’s most beloved British content provider and 4th fastest-growing specialty streamer seeks culture-obsessed Brand Strategist and Marketer to help drive brand cohesion, integrate insights into our everyday practices, and inspire great creative campaigns. Must be a stellar writer and ambidextrous thinker. Ideal candidates will be fans of British TV or have experience in streaming.
Responsibilities
Creative Development
- Write ongoing creative briefs, run briefings, and ensure creative response is unexpected yet on-brief and on-time
- Support campaign planning with audience insight and help with go-to-market mapping
- Partner with creative team on concepting, shaping on-brief campaigns, and finding areas for differentiating creative executions.
- Draft RFP to bring on new partners in areas of Design, Creative, Creative Production or others.
- Continue to refine creative briefing templates and associated processes. Update corresponding playbook and socialize.
Brand Strategy - Cohesion & Applications
- Be the steward of the Brand Strategy. Help cement brand positioning, roadshow, and lead opportunities for brand ‘stretch’ through mapping and proposal of innovative ideas that would drive creative and business results
- Help drive the ‘premiumization’ workstream around implementing the next stage of BritBox
- Draft global Brand 101 onboarding deck
- Partner with agency/creative team to land Brand Guidelines, including brand strategy, tone, character, and basic design parameters
- Help develop easy-to-use ‘design target’ profile
- Map how Brand Strategy applies across the company beyond Communications, inclusive of Values, Content, Product and Event/Activations. Ability to apply the strategy to each function cohesively and socialize broadly. Plot today/tomorrow applications to demonstrate brand growth over time.
Mid-to-long-term Brand Planning
- Collaborate on Annual and Quarterly planning with Media/Growth + Editorial + Programming + Product teams, across regions
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategy for Brand / Multi-Title / Seasonal initiatives that align with business objectives, sales targets, and ongoing content calendar, ensuring successful execution.
- Help with the cross-functional consensus-building and socialization of plans
- Refine messaging framework across consumer journey
Insights Expertise
- Work with Insights team on an ongoing basis, understanding consumer behavior and trends to develop strategies that resonate with target audiences. Ability to extract patterns and surprising insights from a variety of datasets.
- Develop plug-and-play approach for creative campaign performance recaps, and means of integrating findings into subsequent creative campaigns
- Support research design in ongoing consumer validation
- Be the go-to on ongoing KPIs monitoring across the brand
Qualifications and Experience
- Operating at a Manager level within Brand Strategy, preferably in-house at a subscription service or at a creative agency
- Reliably pithy-yet-inspiring writing skills. Articulates strategic vision and creative ideas clearly and persuasively. Understands the freedom of a tight brief.
- Strong understanding of and experience with creative communications campaigns.
- Excellent rapport with Creative team and appreciation for creative process
- “Full-funnel” thinker, with an eye for brand cohesion, effectiveness, and ‘connecting the dots.’
- Thrives in change: ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects, priorities, and personalities simultaneously.
- Hungry & Open-minded: loves to learn something new from people with different perspectives
- Humble: Un-precious about the work at any level. Willingness to scrap, rebuild, and do it better. Great at giving feedback and better at receiving it.

- Love of British entertainment and/or deep knowledge of streaming landscape a plus
Salary Range: $90 - 110K base salary + competitive benefits + bonus potential
Please note that the salary range is intended to give as an indicator of the salaries that could be attributed to the breadth or experience for a given role. All candidates will be measured based on their level of experience.
