Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Design and oversee health-related integrated marketing campaigns and communications strategies that drive impact and resonate with target audiences.
- Develop multi-channel plans across paid, earned, and social media platforms, leveraging insights and data to inform decisions.
- Lead the execution of complex projects, ensuring deliverables meet contract performance standards and exceed expectations.
- Anticipate risks and opportunities, providing proactive solutions to maintain project momentum and quality.
Client Engagement
- Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact for all client interactions.
- Provide forward-thinking guidance, addressing client challenges with strategic solutions.
- Act as a strategic partner, advising on best practices, emerging trends, and innovative approaches to meet campaign objectives.
Team Leadership
- Inspire and manage cross-functional teams to deliver creative, results-driven campaigns.
- Mentor team members and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Partner with resource managers to align talent with project goals and ensure optimal team performance.
Operational Excellence
- Review and refine deliverables to ensure they align with overarching strategies and quality benchmarks.

- Ensure strict compliance with federal contracting regulations and standards.
Thought Leadership and Growth
- Stay ahead of industry trends, offering insights to inform strategic planning and agency offerings.
- Play a key role in business development efforts, contributing to proposal writing and client pitches.
- Represent the organization at industry events and forums, positioning yourself as a thought leader in federal health communications.
Qualifications
Required Experience
- 12+ years in strategic communication, marketing, or related fields, with a focus on integrated campaign management.
- Extensive experience working with federal government clients, including understanding compliance and procurement processes.
- Proven leadership in managing large-scale campaigns with diverse teams in an agency or consulting environment.
- Expertise in public health campaigns or health-related communications.
- Exceptional skills in project management, strategic planning, and client relationship building.
Preferred Experience
- Leading campaigns that promote public awareness on nutrition, SNAP, or WIC-related topics.
- Developing strategies tailored to multicultural and diverse audiences.
Education
