We are a boutique law firm seeking a dedicated Marketing Assistant who is passionate about making a meaningful impact. This position starts out part-time and will transition to full-time within 6-12 months. The right person will have many tools in their tool belt, including robust graphic design, content creation, event coordination, email marketing, full marketing campaigns, and website content. Responsibilities:
Duties:
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite for graphic design tasks.
- Engage with social media accounts: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, YouTube. Create, schedule and publish social media content. Maintain an active presence across all social media platforms. Develop and execute social media campaigns, including corresponding downloadable client resources. Provide weekly report to the Owner, Executive Director, and Director of Sales and Marketing.
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content on multiple platforms for multiple marketing initiatives; monitor engagement metrics.
- Design materials for email marketing campaigns, and monitor metrics (i.e. open rates).
- Manage client testimonial acquisition, usage, publication, and storage.
- Assist with website content maintenance and development.
- Coordinate and manage logistics for workshops, webinars, and other marketing events, lunches, seminars, webinars, speaking events, etc. to support marketing efforts. An example event would entail:
- Create video/electronic content from existing content to support marketing efforts. Develop shorts/reels from existing podcast video content, post same across social media. Develop downloadable materials/resources related to podcast shorts, post same across social media.
- Assist with the creation of landing pages for the Firm's website related to any/all marketing efforts.
- Develop downloadable resources for any marketing campaign, firm services offering, client resources, etc.
- Develop revised newsletter template(s); create additional content for newsletters. Monitor and report open rates, other metrics, and statistics.
- Create additional video content to support marketing efforts. Arrange for, edit, optimize, and manage FAQ videos.
- Create additional digital and print materials to support all marketing efforts, including advertisements for digital and print marketing, event sponsorships, and community engagement initiatives, among others. Create and maintain digital and print brochures, pamphlets, and other promotional materials.
- Ensure all advertising complies with State Bar of Texas (SBOT) advertising materials requirements, in conjunction with the Director of Marketing Sales.
- Research, source, recommend, and design marketing/promotional items. This role may also eventually include the following:
- Assist with sourcing and procuring gifts for lead referral sources, VIPs, etc., as needed.
- Write and submit blog posts and presentations for approval by the Owner, Executive Director, and/or Director of Sales and Marketing; publish same across all platforms.
- Manage contact database, ensuring it is up to date, data inclusive, and contacts are tagged correctly.
- Assist with maintenance of content on website. Develop content edits on website for approval by the Executive Director, and/or Director of Sales and Marketing approval. Develop content for new website landing pages as needed in conjunction with campaigns created by the marketing vendor, for approval by the Executive Director and/or Director of Marketing and Sales.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of marketing strategies in conjunction with the Owner, Director of Sales Marketing, and Executive Director. Qualifications: Skills Required:
- Strong proficiency in graphic design (Adobe Suite); submission of a portfolio is required.
- In-depth knowledge of social media marketing trends and tools, requirements, and metrics.
- Affinity for technology, knowledge of IT systems and information processing systems, capable of learning new systems quickly.
- Proficient in video creation, editing, optimizing, and in creating and utilizing video cuts/shorts/reels as additional resources.
- Proficient in gleaning and creating digital text assets from video content.
- Savvy in knowledge of marketing trends as they relate to social media.
- Excellent writing, grammar, and proofing skills with attention to detail.
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Strong collaborative interpersonal skills, and works well with a team.
- Ability to exercise high levels of discretion, confidentiality, sensitivity, and integrity. Compensation: $20 hourly
