Your Role
Mission:
The APE Marketing and Communications Specialist is strategic and forward thinking with a long-term vision for developing marketing and communications strategies and initiatives with a strong drive for implementation. The primary goal is to identify opportunities and integrate marketing solutions into the core of the APE division operations while maximizing customer long-term value creation and business outcomes.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Create marketing plans that outline the tactics and activities to be executed in the different marketing channels, such as advertising, digital marketing, social media, content marketing, events, and public relations.
- In collaboration with the APE BLM, develop comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve the organization's goals.
- Define the positioning, messaging, and branding for the APE products. Conduct market research, analyzing customer insights, and identifying target markets.
- Allocate budgets, set marketing objectives, and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success on the different marketing initiatives.
- Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives. Collaborate with internal teams, creating content and leading its implementation. Ensure campaigns are launched on time, within budget, and are aligned with the overall marketing strategy and desired business outcomes.
- Use and promote the C4C adoption by RSM’s, SPE’s and Dealers with Leads and Opportunities management providing timely update of the developments in system.
- Conducting Market Research gathering and analyzing data into market trends, customer behavior and feedback, competitive landscape, industry developments, and other relevant information that will be used for product positioning, pricing, and target audience segmentation.
- Develop advertising campaigns, promotions, negotiate contracts with advertising agencies or media partners, and monitor campaign performance.
- Oversee the planning and execution of promotional events, trade shows, and sponsorships while responsible for analyzing they performance through various metrics and tools aiming for the return on investment (ROI).
- Collaborate with sales, product managers, and customer service. Work closely with these teams to align marketing efforts with sales objectives, gather product feedback, and ensure consistent messaging across different customer touchpoints.
- Coordinate the integrated marketing initiatives between Atlas Copco, customers, and associations. Manage the different aspects of contracts and evaluate results and required improvements.
- Together with the BLM, manage marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively. Track expenses, control costs, and ensure that marketing activities stay within the allocated budget.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging marketing technologies, and best practices. Attend conferences, participate in industry forums, and engage in professional development activities to enhance marketing knowledge and skills.
To succeed, you will need
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of proven work experience in digital marketing is required.
Education:
A 4-year college or university degree in marketing or a related field is required; a master’s degree is a plus.
Skills:
To be successful in this role, a person must:
• Be highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
• Have demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
• Have experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
• Have a solid knowledge and proficiency in website and marketing analytics tools.
• Have an in-depth knowledge of how marketing automation works.
• Have excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to details
• Be expert in project management.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibility.

Occasional travel may be required.
