The Event Marketing Specialist is responsible for the planning and execution of North America events. They will handle logistics, such as venue selection, catering, and transportation. They will also be responsible for marketing the event and coordinating with vendors.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing a fully integrated field marketing plan aligned with the revenue goals of the business, focused on building high-quality net new pipeline and accelerating existing pipeline.
What You'll Do
- Plan and execute a wide range of events: This includes trade shows, virtual workshops, field events (dinners, happy hours, etc).
- Manage all event logistics: From venue selection and contract negotiation to catering, A/V setup, and on-site coordination.
- Manage event budgets: Track expenses, negotiate with vendors, and ensure events stay within budget guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders: Work closely with marketing, sales, and other departments to align events with company objectives. Build strong relationships with vendors and partners.
- Promote events and drive attendance: Develop marketing materials, manage event registration, and execute pre-event communication strategies.
- Measure event success and report on key metrics: Analyze event data to assess ROI and identify areas for improvement.
- Willingness to travel 15% of the time (2x quarter).
Your Background
- Proven experience: 2-5 years of experience in event planning and execution.
- Strong project management skills: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders, communicate clearly and concisely, and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Budget management experience: Experience developing and managing event budgets.
- Analytical skills: Experience analyzing attendee data, market trends, and campaign performance to develop and execute impactful event strategies that drive engagement, generate leads, and achieve business objectives.
Compensation:
$30/hr DOE
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
