Key Responsibilities
- Champion the voice of the customer within the executive leadership team.
- Own and articulate the product vision and roadmap to C-level executives, board members, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Human Resources team to attract, inspire, and retain top-tier talent.
- Ensure alignment across departments to focus on impactful initiatives.
- Lead a team of product managers with an emphasis on agile methodologies and strategic insights.
- Communicate internal strategic plans for products in partnership with the Marketing department.
- Define and communicate the value proposition and competitive positioning for each product.
- Foster innovation through strong leadership and promote data-driven discussions.
- Develop and enhance the product roadmap by assessing opportunities through research and testing.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and roll out product changes.
- Utilize agile processes to ensure teams meet key performance indicators.
- Determine required resources for success and assess team performance against goals.
- Leverage consumer insights and competitive intelligence to stimulate product innovation.
- Collaborate with the product team to refine vision, objectives, and structure, aligning with business needs.
Required Skills
- Proven experience leading product management in a rapidly growing B2B SaaS environment.
- Strong budget management and product strategy development capabilities.
- Subject matter expertise or a keen enthusiasm for book creation, publishing, photography, and design.
- Experience in mergers and acquisitions with a focus on strategic integration.
- Ability to comprehend complex products and work collaboratively with engineering teams.
Qualifications
- A strong track record of successfully partnering with senior leaders to meet organizational goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; a Master’s degree is advantageous but not required.
