tasc is looking for a Marketing Analyst who will play a crucial role in helping the marketing team make data-driven decisions and optimize campaigns for effectiveness. This role provides an opportunity to build and own our direct-to-consumer business analytics strategy and dashboards. This person will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights. By leveraging analytical skills, they will contribute to the development of marketing strategies and initiatives that drive omnichannel business growth. We are a small, but ambitious team looking for a team player to help us build into our next stages.
This position is open as REMOTE with a preference for on site at tasc's Uptown Office in New Orleans, LA.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and own end-to-end data analysis across direct-to-consumer experience: site, stores, email, advertising platforms, customer behavior, etc.
- Gather data from various sources, including digital marketing platforms, Google Analytics, and other relevant databases & ELTs (Funnel io, Power My Analytics, Analytics Canvas), to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data by cleaning and integrating datasets.
- Conduct detailed analysis of marketing performance metrics, including but not limited to conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, ROAS.
- Build LTV reporting to inform media spend strategy and retention efforts; provide LTV insights by category, activating channel, gender, etc.
- Build an attribution model for cross-channel optimization
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to extract meaningful insights.
- Utilize Looker Studio (and potentially additional platforms) to present complex data clearly and understandably to executive stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to understand campaign objectives for tracking & measuring success against predefined KPIs.
- Drive recommendations to optimize engagement, retention, and business performance and partner cross-functionally to execute and refine based on results.
- Intake raw data and create reports that indicate key metrics or opportunities to enhance performance.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing analytics.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a marketing analyst role
- Proven experience in marketing data analysis, preferably in the apparel / fashion industry
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, Python, or R.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Narrator, etc.).
- Proficiency with GA4 to provide insights into website traffic, user behavior, and other important metrics.
- Expert in Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including spreadsheet creation, editing, and exporting to other applications utilizing macros and pivot tables.
- Expert in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) at an advanced level, including spreadsheet creation, editing and exporting to other applications utilizing macros and pivot tables
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex findings concisely to all levels of the organization.
- Entrepreneurial drive that results in recommendations and investment in strategic initiatives to move the needle.
- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and metrics (Meta, Google, Shopify, Klaviyo).
- Demonstrated success in multitasking and working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter who requires minimal guidance. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills.
