CAPTRUST seeks an established and dedicated Senior Marketing Manager to join its evolving 40+ person marketing department with the primary responsibility of contributing to, coordinating, and leading various projects and initiatives within the department. The role is highly collaborative within the department and across the organization with cross-functional teams, subject matter experts, and leadership interaction. Associated projects, initiatives, and bodies of work are consistent with a highly dynamic environment, a rapid growth focused culture, and an integrated marketing approach.
Overview Of Department
CAPTRUST’s marketing strategy is a combination of the high-level activities listed below, which are intended to support the firm’s growth efforts and the needs of its institutional and wealth management clients.
- Targeted and appropriate messaging communicated through automated marketing platforms and applications, media outlets and publications, corporate websites, and presence on social media
- Successful application and delivery of the brand through print, electronic, and in-person media to create a consistent and world-class experience for all interactions
- Real-time support for business development opportunities based on market intelligence, historical data and trends, and understanding of the opportunity to ensure a successful outcome
- Drive brand awareness and pre-qualify wealth and institutional advisors and firms for potential acquisition
- Create or support events designed to establish CAPTRUST, its advisors, and subject matter experts as thought leaders within appropriate market segments
Responsibilities:
Contribute to, coordinate, or lead various marketing projects and initiatives within CAPTRUST’s evolving marketing department which consists of the following functions:
- Brand and corporate marketing
- Data, information, and insights
- Digital marketing
- Editorial content, public relations, and media
- Lead generation
- Market engagement
- Prospect deliverables and resources
- Sales enablement and key initiatives
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in Marketing or similar functioning roles commensurate with the outlined role responsibilities
- Demonstrated ability and examples of value and optimization impact, experience within professional or financial services industry is a plus
Desired Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, or similar degree
- Excellent project management and organizational skills necessary with an appropriate level of attention to detail and accountability
- Proven ability to positively, constructively, and professionally engage and interact with a diverse group of colleagues
- Experience with CRM platforms, such as Dynamics or Salesforce
- Experience with a diverse and unique marketing technology stack, including Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI, and external vendor partners
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Detail-oriented with a passion for problem-solving
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new marketing technologies and trends
- Previous internship or coursework related to marketing analytics is a plus
- Must be coachable, possess curiosity, and a desire to learn
