We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing professional with specialized experience working with marketing and creative agencies to join our Supplier Management Operations team. In this role, you will partner with stakeholders and Finance Procurement Operations Business Partners to gather business requirements and execute strategic sourcing strategies across the organization. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has built and implemented a category strategy and has proven experience negotiating and managing contracts across marketing-related spend categories.
Responsibilities
- Create, manage, and execute a comprehensive sourcing strategy for marketing and creative services to meet business objectives
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs and become a trusted partner
- Lead complex negotiations related to all commercial aspects of the contracts
- Research market trends to identify innovative solutions and category insights
- Drive process improvements within the sourcing workflows, tools, and reports
- Monitor the performance of agency partners to assess their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements
- Implement and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for management reporting
Qualities We’re Looking For
- At least 8 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing with specific category expertise in marketing
- Strong understanding of the marketing and creative industry, including trends and best practices
- Proven track record of successful contract negotiation and supplier management
- Comfortable working in self-directed and ambiguous environments
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills with the ability to challenge the status quo
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Marketing or a related field
- Media and Entertainment or Tech industry experience preferred
Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $160,000 - $470,000.
