Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a research or quantitative field (e.g., Social Sciences, Statistics, Mathematics, Bioinformatics, Economics, etc.) or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience designing, scoping, executing, and delivering research and analysis projects.
- Experience translating business problems into research questions and translating research findings and insights into marketing recommendations.
- Experience managing research and measurement agencies.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in statistical software R, SPSS, Python or similar, SQL, Google Analytics.
- Experience in marketing analytics working in CPG, tech, TV, media, music, subscription services.
- Experience building user-facing data dashboards.
- Understanding of advanced analytics methods, matched market tests, marketing mix modeling.

In this role, you will be understanding the impact of YouTube’s marketing efforts on its subscription businesses. You will express passion for marketing measurement. You will be responsible for working with global methodologies, tools and vendors, building and managing a measurement framework for YouTube subscription businesses, reporting on metrics, conducting analyses, and extracting actionable insights that will shape how the business plans marketing investments and reports on marketing ROI. You will also be able to communicate well with business strategists who are tasked with developing and optimizing marketing programs.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $108,000-$158,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Develop the methodology and calculations for measuring marketing investments across our subscriptions businesses in collaboration with product-area campaign analysts and data science team members.
- Apply methodology to guide marketing spend decisions on a regular and ad hoc basis, and own quarterly reporting of associated performance metrics.
- Work with product area campaign analysts and marketing partners on translating business questions into appropriate measurement plans that will inform tactical business decisions for go-to-market planning
- Execute measurement approaches, analyses, and experiments that explain the incremental impact of marketing efforts for core success metrics and KPIs that inform business decisions.
- Communicate results and related findings to stakeholders by preparing presentations and identifying key takeaways.
