What's this role?
Etsy is seeking a Senior Producer, Paid Social to develop engaging, audience-first video creative that embodies our brand. You’ll oversee production workflows and operations for all paid social creative, enabling the team to consistently and efficiently deliver best-in-class content at scale. You’ll also bring a mix of operational and creative expertise to lead onsite and offsite video shoots, with a particular focus on paid YouTube content. You'll draw from your extensive social video experience to develop a diverse mix of content that tells the best story for our brand. You’ll work closely with Brand, Growth Marketing and our in-house Social Video team, as well as external production and platform partners, taking an insights-informed approach to content creation.
This is a full-time position reporting to the Director, Storytelling & Paid Social Content. This role requires your presence in Etsy’s Brooklyn Office once or twice per week depending on your proximity to the office. What does the day-to-day look like?
- Leading end-to-end management of Etsy’s production workflows for full funnel paid social creative - from content ideation to final delivery
- Streamlining our creative workflows, partnering with internal and external stakeholders to drive an efficient and timely pipeline of paid content across all markets and platforms
- Working closely with Etsy’s in-house Social Video team, including video editors and creators, to deliver creative feedback and develop content that embodies brand and audience strategies
- Lead onsite and offsite productions for YouTube, collaborating with in-house creatives and external-production partners to refine our content output
- Managing nimble production timelines for all seasonal and evergreen campaigns, integrating testing and learning opportunities in partnership with Growth Marketing
- Reviewing and finalizing paid creative for deployment, making sure all content and copy adheres to platform guidelines
- Mentoring and overseeing production specialists to enable efficient content development informed by platform and campaign insights
- Surfacing new creative tactics and opportunities, driven by cultural and platform trends and competitive insights

Qualities that will help you thrive in this role are:
- 8+ years of experience as a social or video producer at a large retail brand, publisher or agency with recent experience specifically across paid social campaigns and formats
- Deep knowledge of the social media landscape: you’re immersed in social content trends and channel dynamics with a pulse on cultural conversations
- Extensive expertise developing creative for social formats - particularly on YouTube, Meta and TikTok - and a clear understanding of how creative strategies and user experiences differ by channel
- Experience managing social content production through a variety of partners, including in-house creative teams, agencies, influencers and social content creators
- A keen awareness of the difference between successful organic and paid content as well as a discerning eye for what makes video content successful on social
- Outstanding time management, organization and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously across different channels and campaigns under tight deadlines
- Fluency in paid measurement and a proven track record of optimizing creative and content based on performance insights
- Clear, considerate and effective communication skills - you enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships with peers and partners
- A passion for supporting small businesses, creativity and craftsmanship
