The
Creative Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the creative direction and visual identity of the record label and its artists. Working closely with artists, designers, and marketing, the Creative Manager will oversee the development of creative assets that align with the label's brand and vision. This position requires a balance of creativity, leadership, and project management skills to ensure that all creative materials—from album artwork to promotional videos—are consistent, compelling, and aligned with the label's strategy.
What You'll Do
- Creative Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior management and artists to define and execute the creative vision for the label and its releases. Develop strategies that align with the label's brand and target audience.
- Content Creation & Oversight: Lead the creation of visual content for albums, singles, and promotional campaigns, including album artwork, music videos, photo shoots, social media assets, and other multimedia materials. Ensure high-quality output that aligns with the label's artistic and commercial goals.
- Artist Collaborations: Work closely with artists to ensure that their creative vision is reflected in all aspects of their image and branding, including album covers, music videos, and live performances.
- Project Management: Oversee multiple creative projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and that projects stay on budget. Coordinate with various departments (A&R, marketing, digital, etc.) to ensure cohesive and timely delivery of materials.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure that all visual materials, marketing collateral, and artist branding are consistent with the label's overall brand identity. Maintain a strong understanding of trends and ensure the label’s image remains fresh and relevant.
- Creative Direction for Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing and social media teams to create engaging content that promotes releases and builds the label's digital presence. Help develop strategies for digital campaigns, social media, and online platforms.
- Budget & Vendor Management: Manage the budget for creative projects, ensuring that creative assets are delivered within financial constraints. Source and liaise with external vendors, including photographers, videographers, and graphic designers, when necessary.
- Performance Analysis: Track and analyze the performance of creative campaigns and assets. Provide insights and recommendations for future improvements based on metrics such as engagement rates, sales data, and audience feedback.
Who You Are
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in a creative management role, preferably within the music, entertainment, or fashion industries. Previous experience in a record label or with musical artists is highly preferred.
- Creative Expertise: Strong background in graphic design, visual arts, photography, videography, and other creative disciplines. A keen eye for design and a deep understanding of how visual elements can shape an artist's brand.
- Project Management Skills: Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
- Leadership Abilities: Experience managing and mentoring a team of creative professionals. Ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams while fostering a collaborative environment.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate creative ideas clearly to both artistic and non-artistic stakeholders.
- Technology Proficiency: Strong knowledge of design and editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, etc.). Familiarity with video production, digital content creation, and online marketing tools.
- Passion for Music and Culture: A deep understanding of the music industry, trends, and cultural movements. Passion for discovering new talent and pushing creative boundaries.

The anticipated annual base salary does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
