Tweezerman is seeking a dedicated
Digital Design Supervisor to join a dynamic team focusing on visuals for our Beauty and Pet brand. This is a unique, blended role that ties design expertise with supervisory skills. Duties And Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Digital Content Manager to conceptualize and strategize content needs in order to organize timelines.
- Self-manage creative outputs for day-to-day and long-term projects of yourself and the Digital Designer.
- Review work and provide clear and insightful feedback in partnership with manager.
- Clearly and concisely translate the brand vision and strategy into relevant assets for conversion, brand awareness, and performance marketing.
- Reinforce and abide by Tweezerman’s visual identity and implement it in all design work ranging from e-commence initiatives to social campaigns.
- Assist Digital Content Manager with art direction and executing production needs such as photoshoot planning, post-production selects, and communication with external vendors as it relates to retouching and video-editing.
- Organize and maintain visual content on both our internal and Product Information Management systems.
- Research and present new creative ideas with a goal to encourage brand growth and innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Design, or related field.
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, inclusive of Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, Bridge, and Microsoft Office programs.
- 5+ years relevant experience in Digital Design or Art Direction, beauty industries preferred.
- Experience in an ad agency or in-house marketing team for a high-end brand preferred.
- Vibrant, self-propellant, ambitious, and not afraid to take the lead on projects. Can accept and adapt internal and cross functional critique on those projects.
- Strong sense of design principals such as of typography, layout, and color theory with uncompromising attention to detail.
- Thorough understanding of digital specifications, ad material specs, and color profiles.
- Strong ability to switch between multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, across a diverse group of professionals ranging from brand managers to fellow creatives.
- Hands-on and forward-thinking design expert, with a willingness to participate in developing the design concept and seeing it through to implementation.
- 1+ years of mentorship or supervisory experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
This position must be able to move about the building along with sitting for prolonged periods of time, with finger and wrist dexterity and repetitive motion. This position requires occasional off-site travel to photoshoot locations. Able to commute to office location 2 days a week
Monday - Thursday: 8:30am - 5:30pm
Friday: 8:30am - 12:30pm
