Job Title: VP of Marketing - Subprime Automotive Franchising
Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Marketing to lead our marketing strategy in the subprime automotive finance sector. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership capabilities, a proven track record in digital paid search, and hands-on expertise in website management. This role requires a seasoned professional with experience in developing engaging content, implementing SEO/SEM strategies, and collaborating cross-functionally (including with our Franchisees) to drive customer acquisition, enhance brand visibility, and support the unique needs of subprime automotive finance customers.
Responsibilities for VP of Marketing:
- Website Strategy and Management
- Oversee the design, content, and technical maintenance of the company website, ensuring optimal user experience, accessibility, and alignment with branding and business goals
- Develop and execute strategies to increase website traffic, lead conversion rates, and customer engagement
- Monitor website performance metrics and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement
- Content Creation and Management
- Lead content strategy to create high-quality, engaging, and on-brand content across digital channels (website, blogs, social media, email campaigns, etc.)
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to produce a range of content, including articles, infographics, videos, and case studies, that aligns with the company's value proposition and marketing goals
- Ensure all content is SEO-optimized, accessible, and meets brand guidelines
- Digital Marketing Strategy and Execution
- Develop and implement digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media, to drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation
- Analyze digital marketing performance, using tools like Google Analytics, and adjust strategies to achieve KPIs
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitors to continuously refine and innovate marketing approaches
- Franchisee Collaboration and Support
- Act as the primary marketing liaison for franchisees and their marketing partners, providing guidance and resources to help them improve their local marketing efforts
- Monitor and analyze franchisee marketing performance, offering tailored recommendations and support
- Team Leadership
- Serve as a mentor and resource to team members, providing guidance and support on digital marketing best practices
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align marketing strategies with broader business objectives
- Conduct training sessions for internal stakeholders on website and digital marketing strategies to enhance the company's overall marketing capabilities
Qualifications for VP of Marketing:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- 10+ years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the automotive or financial services industries
- Proven expertise in digital paid search (Google Ads, Bing, programmatic platforms) and lead generation campaigns
- Significant experience managing and optimizing websites, including UX/UI, SEO, and analytics
- Strong understanding of the subprime finance landscape and customer behavior
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and marketing automation platforms
- Exceptional leadership, team-building, and communication skills
