We are seeking a
Marketing and Communications Assistant to support the communications initiatives of our rapidly expanding
event marketing company. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in
marketing,
advertising, and
community outreach for large national brands and corporations. You will help us maintain a strong brand image, drive engagement, and shape our company’s public presence.
As a Marketing and Communications Assistant, you’ll collaborate closely with internal teams, manage
public relations strategies, and organize impactful
community events. Your contributions will be instrumental in how we connect with our target audience and strengthen our public image.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal teams and senior management to develop and execute marketing strategies that align with organizational goals
- Organize and promote community events, acting as the company spokesperson and representing the brand to the public
- Build and nurture strong relationships with customers, emphasizing the value of our promotional services
- Develop community-based strategies and campaigns that align with company objectives, driving engagement and brand awareness
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with consumers, employees, community groups, and public interest organizations
- Coach client representatives on effective communication strategies, ensuring they are equipped to engage with both the public and internal teams
- Analyze organizational goals and create public relations strategies to influence public opinion and promote products, services, and ideas
- Maintain and protect the company’s image, ensuring brand consistency across all communications
- Work with the Operations Director to evaluate advertising efforts and ensure they align with public relations initiatives and company objectives
Requirements:
- Previous experience in community relations, sales, or a related field is preferred, but not required
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to foster positive connections within the community
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, professional demeanor with a focus on delivering outstanding customer satisfaction
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent the company clearly and confidently
- Strong desire for professional development and a willingness to take on new challenges and grow within the company
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
