Title: Retail Engagement & Marketing Copy Editor
Pay Rate: $47-$52/hourly
Location: Remote PST hours
Duration: 12 month contract w/ potential to extend, 40 hours/weekly
Our ideal candidate would be technically savvy and have exceptional attention to detail to help produce world-class communications for Retail Engagement & Marketing initiatives. As a key contributor to the creative team, you’d edit and proofread digital and print communications, including engagement and marketing content such as internal copy, email, social media posts, reference materials, signage, and presentations. You’d work closely with writers and other team members to maintain the highest possible standards and ensure clarity and accuracy. You’d also review projects at all stages of the design and production process.
Key Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience editing communications, preferably as part of a creative team or organization
• Experience or special interest in using artificial intelligence tools during content development
• Strong writing skills
• Solid understanding and grounding in U.S.-style English, usage, grammar, and punctuation
• Extensive proofreading and fact-checking experience
• Familiarity with standard style and usage guides, including The Chicago Manual of Style
• Excellent communication skills
• Capacity to adapt to change, focus, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in using Pages, Numbers, and Keynote
