Job Description
- Play a key role in growing Qantas’s presence and performance in the Americas, inspiring travel down under
- Opportunity to work across an extensive portfolio that covers the Americas region - including the US, Canada and South America
- Full time permanent position, located at our Los Angeles corporate office
- Pay range USD$170,000-$200,000 per year

As the
VP Marketing, you will be responsible for leading a small but talented Marketing team in the Americas, overseeing marketing strategy and operations for Qantas across the US, Canada and South America. This is a key leadership position that is expected to play an important role in shaping and evolving Qantas’s overall marketing strategy and approach toward the region and also directly responsible for conceptualizing, implementing, managing and measuring all marketing activities, across all marketing channels, for the key markets in region.
You’ll Have
- 15+ years experience in marketing roles with extensive experience in tourism and/or commercially focused marketing roles
- Tertiary qualification in relevant discipline (Business/Communications/Marketing etc.) or relevant experience.
- A thought-leader with a passion for developing innovative marketing solutions using data, insights and experience.
- A proven track record in delivering outstanding results and ROI in a complex, high paced business environment across multiple stakeholders and multiple regions
- A proven track record in developing strong working relationships with all stakeholders
- A proven track record in managing and mentoring a small team to grow skills and deliver exceptional work
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of management, both internally and externally
- Ability to successfully work in a team environment as an individual who demonstrates flexibility, self-motivation, enthusiasm and sound judgement
- Ability to work in a matrix reporting structure with dual reporting locally and to the Qantas Head Office in Australia
- A passion for travel and tourism, including knowledge of Australia/New Zealand
