Summary: The Director of Communications and Marketing will be focused on producing non-profit communications and public relations. As the Director of Communications and Marketing you will be supervising the Communications Manager in collaboration with the Chief Development Officer to create and execute communications strategy. The Director of Communications and Marketing will ensure brand identity and drive both internal and external communications about strategic plan.
Responsibilities
- In collaboration with the Chief Development Officer, you will manage the Communications Manager
- Create and implement communications strategies, with an emphasis on fundraising
- Analyze effectiveness of communication activities to gauge engagement and participation
- Serve as the brand ambassador through internal and external communications
- Lead the production of publications and collateral
- Engage with donors and partners to promote the organization
- Manage media relations to maximize opportunities through digital platforms, including the content produced and evaluate the effectiveness of content
Requirements
- 4+ years of related experience in the non-profit industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations of relevant field
- Strong working knowledge of Wix and the associated analytics capabilities
- Proven writing and editing skills to create engaging content
- Attention to detail, and organizational skills to meet deadline focused needs
