We are looking for a social media superstar with an artistic touch to craft strategic and beautifully curated content for our client's Instagram accounts, to engage and connect their audiences, followers, and grow their exposure. We believe that a strong online presence opens the doors to new opportunities for our clients, and we want our Social Media Associate to feel empowered to help our clients grow their businesses.

LOCATION

70% remote, 30% on-site. While much of this role can be performed remotely, regular on-site content sessions with our DC/MD clients are crucial for creating truly engaging content. Being there in person allows you to capture behind-the-scenes moments, participate in photoshoots, and film reels, while also immersing yourself in the clients' world—listening to their stories and infusing their unique vision and personality into the work to ensure it resonates deeply with audiences.

OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION:

The SM Associate is responsible for all public communication with our client's present and future followers and customers through Instagram.

You’ll be communicating with our clients and their community. So, you need to enjoy building relationships through social media.

You enjoy bringing your own creative ideas to the table – You're ahead of social media trends and can show up to meetings with new things to try/fresh ideas.

You are highly organized. We use Trello for all project management tasks and workflows and we’ll ask you to join us there to keep everyone on the same page.

You're self-motivated. You thrive working independently and can get the job done with little to no oversight.

You are meticulous in your work. A product or location tag will never go missed in an IG post!

You understand quality content. We expect you to have a solid understanding of quality content that drives up social media traffic and moves the reader along to the next step in the customer journey. You know how to find and integrate images that not only match a specific aesthetic, but will also perform well.

You're receptive to feedback and enjoy collaborating with others to refine your work.

You're responsive and understand the importance of timely engagement and content delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Write and schedule weekly content for 4 client's IG pages from a high-level approach.

Develop and Manage:

-Instagram feed posts, IG reels, stories, Tik Tok, and more.

-Design graphics in Canva to support content

-Create thumb-stopping stories that drive engagement

-Find targeted accounts to follow and interact with to grow account exposure

-Reply to post comments within 24 hrs

-Report on trends you are noticing in responses that could inform future content and marketing messaging

-Review the social media traffic and create a report (monthly)

-Participate in weekly social media zoom meetings

-Create Instagram Reels and Tik Toks

-Design client newsletters

-Travel to our client's locations to create BTS content for stories, reels, etc.
