We are seeking an Associate Media Director at Over The Top Marketing (OTT), who will oversee the performance media department, providing leadership and strategic direction to ensure the team delivers exceptional results. The director will manage client relationships, own resourcing, and drive innovation and growth within the department. This position is also responsible for developing media strategies and overseeing execution across various channels and client portfolios, locally, regionally, and nationally. Collaboration among multiple departments within the agency will be key.

Our performance media team is quickly growing so it is important to have experience leading teams, growing capabilities, and a deep understanding of digital marketing and technology.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Department Leadership: Build and manage a team, assess skills and structure, and oversee career management.
Organizational Leadership: Work closely with leaders across the company to develop and continue to evolve OTT's approach to performance marketing solutions, including paid search, paid social, programmatic, etc.
Process & Policy Development: Continuously create and refine processes for scale and growth within the media team and across departments.
Media Strategy: Develop multi-tiered media strategies and plans across various channels and client portfolios, locally, regionally, and nationally.
Channel & Technology Integration: Ensure integration and synergy across different marketing channels and analytics platforms, fostering collaboration among various teams to create cohesive and effective marketing strategies.
Campaign Oversight & Execution: Oversee campaign execution and optimization across multiple channels to ensure campaigns meet client objectives and performance targets and pivot when needed.
Budget & Resource Management: Responsible for resource and budget management to ensure effective time, skill, and spending according to plan.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams, such as creative, ad ops, etc. to ensure an integrated marketing strategy.
New Business & Growth: Continuously identify and implement growth opportunities across current accounts and participate in new business pitches as needed.
Partner Management: Cultivate relationships with media platforms and ad tech partners to foster beneficial collaborations.
Client Relations: Act as the key point of contact for overarching performance updates, issues, or strategy shifts.
Team Management: Direct supervision of media strategists, specialists, and coordinators.

Experience Required:

8+ years of agency experience planning and managing multi-channel media programs across multiple platforms.
5+ years of management experience mentoring and training junior-level team members.
3+ years of experience running large-scale local lead generation campaigns for brands with over 100 locations.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present in a confident manner to client executives and upper management.
Deep marketing channel experience in paid search, paid social (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn), and programmatic (Video, Display and CTV), etc. with the ability to identify and easily adapt to new channels.
Familiarity with CM360 or comparable ad serving technology.
Deep understanding of when and why to use different media channels and tactics based on client business objectives and KPIs.
Understands campaign objectives/strategy and able to present insight in reports to clients as well as field/anticipate questions.
In-Depth knowledge of marketing automation and marketing technology stack.
Experience overseeing the budgeting process.
Demonstrates critical thinking and problem solving abilities with a knack for troubleshooting.
Meticulous self-starter who can keep track of multiple projects, meet deadlines, and help keep the team on task.
Comfort level with data, analytics, and measurement, and various data sources and methodologies.
