Position Overview

A+E Global Media, a renowned global media and entertainment company recognized for its commitment to diversity, innovation, flexibility, and excellence, is seeking a highly strategic and performance-minded Senior Director of Growth Marketing. The role is responsible for leading audience acquisition, product marketing, and retention efforts across direct-to-consumer products and expanded digital sites. You will collaborate closely with teams in brand marketing, digital editorial, product, analytics, and creative operations to drive measurable growth while managing key KPIs such as CAC, LTV, engagement, and retention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and own A+E’s growth marketing strategy across DTC and website expansion initiatives, establishing clear priorities and KPIs.
  • Oversee performance marketing, including KPI definition, campaign planning, execution, and optimization.
  • Develop product marketing initiatives by creating core audience groups, championing lifecycle marketing, and advocating features to boost engagement and retention.
  • Set strategy and manage email acquisition along with customer care communications across digital properties.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Analytics, and Creative teams to establish roadmap priorities and test & learn scenarios each quarter.
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of digital marketers while fostering a culture of innovation.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, benchmarks, and best practices, and share actionable insights with the team.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years in digital/growth marketing, with significant leadership experience across lifecycle marketing channels.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with building out a growth marketing practice within an organization.
  • Experience leading DTC and subscription campaigns with measurable ROI.
  • Analytical mindset—proficient in constructing key metrics strategies, A/B testing, and optimization.
  • Experience with AI-powered marketing tools, marketing automation platforms (e.g., Iterable), analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude), and media platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok).
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with creative, technical, and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring mid-level managers and junior marketers.

  • Compensation: Annual Pay Range: $167,521 - $196,000; Annual Incentive Target: 20.00%.
