Trade Marketing Intern

Job Summary

We’re looking for a passionate and eager marketing intern to be part of the Sulwhasoo Trade Marketing team. This intern will play a crucial role in supporting the marketing team in day to day tasks as well as leading their own projects contributing to the overall growth of the brand. This internship provides an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment with an exclusive look into the beauty product lifecycle from conception to launch. This position will report into the Associate Director while assisting other members of the team. We operate on a hybrid working model, with our office located in Manhattan, NY.

Principal Accountabilities

• Conduct market research for new product launches and marketing campaigns
• Manage all assets for all products in the portfolio
• Coordinate samples and display for market meetings
• Assist in execution of in-store events
• Works cross functionally on sampling strategy and inventory management
• Responsible for event and office product orders
• Help in the maintaining product asset matrix
• Analyzing and pulling sales data + customer sentiment on a weekly basis
• Own and execute ad-hoc projects
• Maintain product closet inventory

Key Experience and Skills

Qualification and Experience

• Currently enrolled undergraduate student or recent graduate
• Preferably a business or marketing major with a strong interest in marketing/ beauty field
• Previous internship experience is a plus but not a must

• Excellent communicator: written and oral
• Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
• Knack for organization and time management
• Thorough attention to detail
• Ability to work cohesively with multiple stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
