Role Overview

Client is seeking a Functional Strategy Generalist (II) to support strategy initiatives within the Marketing AI Lab and Media Lab. This role focuses on strategic analysis, experiment evaluation, and operational execution, translating complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that influence marketing investment decisions and AI adoption.

The ideal candidate is a highly analytical problem-solver who thrives in ambiguity, partners closely with cross-functional leaders, and delivers executive-ready recommendations with minimal guidance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct strategic research and analysis to support product areas, functions, or sub-functions within Marketing.
  • Translate complex business questions and experimental data into structured analyses, evaluation frameworks, and KPIs.
  • Perform deep-dive performance analysis of AI marketing tools and media experiments, delivering executive-level insights.
  • Build and refine frameworks to assess impact, scalability, and alignment with broader business objectives.
  • Manage end-to-end workstreams for key initiatives, from problem definition through execution and delivery.
  • Partner with function leaders, product managers, and leadership teams to operationalize strategic recommendations.
  • Identify recurring challenges and proactively design programs, processes, and solutions to address them.
  • Analyze trends in the future of work, including AI adoption, agile transformation, ecosystem partnerships, and shortened planning cycles.
  • Support core functional processes such as OKRs, QBRs, annual planning, budgeting, and performance reviews.
  • Synthesize findings into clear, persuasive, executive-ready presentations to influence decision-making and resource allocation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in Management Consulting, Investment Banking, Corporate Strategy, or Strategy & Operations in a high-growth environment.
  • Strong proficiency in business insights, data analysis, and KPI development.
  • Advanced skills in Google Sheets / Excel, including data modeling and analysis.
  • Proven ability in structured problem-solving and breaking down complex, ambiguous problems.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects and workstreams with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management, leadership alignment, and influence skills.
  • Excellent strategic communication skills, with the ability to translate data into non-technical business insights.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA from a top-tier program.
  • Experience working with AI-driven products, marketing experiments, or media analytics.
  • Exposure to change management, systems analysis, and process optimization in large organizations.

Pay: $90.00 - $110.00 per hour
