Stadium Event Activations Senior Manager

Position Reports To: Director, Events & Game Entertainment

General Description: Working under the direction of the Director of Events and Game Entertainment, the Stadium Event Activation Senior Manager is responsible for the planning, development, and execution of Ravens-led stadium events and activations, ensuring an exceptional fan experience and maximizing revenue generation. This role will oversee the activation of new stadium spaces, lead gameday programming, and identify opportunities for innovative events both on and off gameday. The Stadium Event Activation Senior Manager will also work collaboratively with Relentless Events as the primary Ravens liaison for third party events.

This position offers a dynamic opportunity for a high-energy, out-of-the-box thinker with a passion for developing large-scale events to shape the fan experience at M&T Bank Stadium and within the Baltimore Ravens organization, while enhancing engagement through innovative and impactful programming.

This position will operate primarily out of the Under Armour Performance Center in Owings Mills, MD. However, this role will also operate out of M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, MD on and leading up to event days.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution and programming of all Ravens-led stadium events, ensuring the highest quality of fan engagement and operational success.
  • Oversee gameday planning and programming for the six newly created stadium spaces, including both pregame and in-game activations.
  • Coordinates closely with multiple departments to ensure overall logistics are coordinated and are aligned with deliverables.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure seamless event setup, staffing, operations, and breakdown.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) across event management and operations to maintain consistency, improve efficiency and drive client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm ideas that increase attendance, enhance the fan experience, and drive brand awareness.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities to enhance fan experiences and increase revenue on gameday and beyond, ensuring on-going innovation and growth.
  • Identifies areas for process improvement and implements innovative solutions to streamline the event operations.
  • Work in conjunction with internal stakeholders to plan and execute non-gameday events that provide added value for PSL owners and generate additional revenue, including concerts, watch parties, and other special events.
  • Collaborate with the Events team to support the execution of Ravens’ signature events and activations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local event promoters and organizations to attract new events to the stadium, working with them to align activation plans with team objectives.
  • Prepare and manage event budgets, including expenses for staffing, vendors, and supplies and ensure accurate financial reporting and reconciliation of event-related transactions.
  • Coordinate event details with the Relentless Events team to ensure seamless execution and successful activation.

Required Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in large-scale events, live experiences, or sports/entertainment operations.
  • Proven track record managing complex, high-profile events in a sports, entertainment, or venue setting.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills.

Requisite Abilities and/or Skills

  • Proven experience in event management, activation, and logistics, preferably within a sports or entertainment environment.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Experienced in conceptualizing and executing high-end, large-scale events with a creative and proactive approach, consistently enhancing fan experiences.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in alignment with event schedules.
  • Experience managing event negotiations, with ability to leverage different space opportunities.

Salary and Benefits

  • Range: $86000 - 105000
  • Company-paid health insurance, including health and vision. Dental insurance also provided with minimal employee contribution
