You'll partner closely with the Senior Director of Marketing on overall strategy and lead entire initiatives, end to end.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Translate business and revenue goals into marketing strategy and full project plans, then own delivery end-to-end.
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for creative resources (contract creative director), briefing and routing work and balancing workload against deadlines.
  • Oversee the department's project workflow — intake, timelines, proofing and review cycles, and approvals.
  • Own the compliance review process (Flesch-Kincaid readability, URAC, WCAG accessibility) for marketing materials.
  • Oversee print production coordination with Birdi's printing partner.
  • Partner with Sales to build enablement content and support the B2B pipeline (payer, PBM, and wholesale audiences).
  • Identify and manage co-marketing opportunities with partners.
  • Provide marketing support for industry events and conferences that Sales leads.
  • Partner with the Senior Director of Marketing on overall marketing strategy, prioritization, and team development.
  • Bring structure and process to a marketing department that's still being built.
  • Support internal communications and PR efforts as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • 8+ years in marketing strategy, execution, and team leadership, ideally in a B2B or healthcare-adjacent environment
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Demonstrated ability to own complex projects independently, from strategic framing through delivery.
  • Experience overseeing creative or production workflows (proofing, print production) a plus.
  • Comfortable building process and structure in a small, fast-moving team
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; able to represent marketing credibly to Sales and leadership.
  • Ability to exercise considerable judgment, maintain confidentiality, and act in a diplomatic manner.
  • Ability to independently identify, research and resolve issues.
  • Ability to relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills.
  • A decisive individual who possesses a strategic focus as well as an operational, implementation, and detail-oriented perspective
  • Willingness to travel up 25%.
  • Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays in alignment with departmental and industry demands.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; proven industry experience will be acceptable in lieu of degree.
  • Experience in pharmacy, healthcare, or pharma marketing strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry related software programs

Work Environment/Physical Requirements

  • Home-based office environment, with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues, and occasional local and/or overnight travel, including exposure to heat, cold, and inclement weather conditions. Transportation for travel typically will include automobile and plane.
  • Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time.
