We are seeking a new Director, Digital Marketing Architecture within our Global Digital Applications Team. Operating within the world’s leading Oral Care Company, we are leveraging some of the leading cloud based marketing technology to digitally connect. You will be responsible for defining platform architecture and solutions to drive interconnectedness and scalability across our Global Digital landscape consisting of Martech, AdTech and eCommerce technology stacks.

Key Responsibilities
- Define integrated technical architecture for end to end Digital Marketing ecosystem, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, (Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud Engagement, Marketing Cloud Intelligence), Google Analytics 4 / Google Tag Manager, Google Cloud Platform, Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Target, Snowflake,etc.
- Recommend MarTech solution architectures and best practices aligned with overall Digital Transformation objectives
- Lead technical requirements gathering, solution design, process improvement, and implementation of marketing technologies across various projects
- Design and implement data capture and tagging strategies to enhance personalized targeted experiences and drive business value
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate MarTech technology and measurement components
- Contribute to strategy definition, roadmap creation, test and learns, and implementation of MarTech platforms
- Optimize our MarTech ecosystem and enable enhanced omni-channel capabilities
- Lead and manage a team of architects, developers, and analysts to drive technical solutioning
- Serve as the expert, lead architect, and overall solution design owner of end-to-end customer experience and marketing solutions
- Take a future-proof approach to the full solutioning process (Ideation, Discovery, and Build), as well as ongoing enhancements and platform expansions
- Continuously review Colgate’s tech stacks against new market needs to find opportunities to optimize, drive cost efficiencies and performance and elevate the digital user experience
- Partner with central Enterprise Architecture team to define and govern standards for digital ecosystem
- Engage in technical resource planning and level-of-effort estimation to support project scoping, pricing, and planning incl SOW negotiations for internal and external staff augmentation
- Collaborate & negotiate with business leaders, product managers, technology leads, and domain experts to create, deliver, and refine innovative digital solutions
- Develop fully linked marketing automation capabilities to support user adoption, engagement and success, drive adoption, and define KPIs
- Liaise with software vendors to deliver global solutions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field
- 12+ years of experience working in Information Technology or Digital Marketing; 7+ years of experience designing and implementing digital and data solutions; 5+ years of Marketing and Advertising Technology experience including Google Marketing Platform (Google Campaign Manager, Google Analytics and Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
- 2+ years of experience in AI/ML Engineering, AI frameworks, Agentic AI platforms
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and embedding models for business applications.
- Track record of shaping successful business development of digital and other front-office business transformation initiatives
- Hands-on experience with martech/marketing data technologies and ability to integrate technologies into solutions and strategies (CRM, CMS, CDP, preferably using Adobe, Salesforce,or Google tools)
- Experience deploying Clean Room technology to drive data sharing and activation
- Experience with LiveRamp/Google/Facebook/Digital Paid Media at a practical application level including knowledge on how to stand up, run, and analyze the results of campaigns
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the Consumer Goods (CPG/FMCG) or Retail industry, understanding the unique challenges of consumer data and brand equity.
- Experience with public cloud offerings (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform) and how to solution designs that are built around these functional technologies areas: cloud compute, data storage, pub/sub, and workflow orchestration.
- Ability to apply agile methodology and sprint development to manage project implementations and backlogs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as customer relationship building skills
- Strong organization and project management skills with the ability to manage complex projects with many stakeholders.
- Experience leading large full-lifecycle implementations and/or implementing integrated solutions including cloud-based marketing solutions
- 4+ years experience with Google Cloud Platform
- 3+ years experience with Snowflake
- 2+ years experience implementing Salesforce Data Cloud
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and embedding models for business applications
- Experience leveraging and implementing additional marketing technology including Google Analytics and SAP Customer Data Cloud (Gigya)
- Hands on experience with API solutions and back end development toolsets (Java/Ruby/Node js/Python)
- Experience working cross functionally within brand marketing, ecommerce, or direct to consumer functions.
- Strong analytical skills; must be proficient in analyzing and interpreting data from third-party platforms and adapt to custom internal tools.
- Exposure to SAFe framework in previous implementations / projects
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $195,000.00 - $220,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
