Job Description

Job Description

Daily Responsibilities

You will step into a team that manages paid media, an external website, corporate email strategy (Marketo), and corporate/executive social media. Your primary mandate is twofold: provide high-level oversight and leadership support to the existing team, and serve as the driving force behind our CMS migration - a project that is in its early stages and needs an experienced leader to build momentum and structure.

What Does Success Look Like?

  • The CMS migration has a clear, structured roadmap with defined phases, owners, and timelines - and the team is executing against it with confidence.
  • The platform evaluation is grounded in documented business requirements and team capability assessment, not vendor preference alone.
  • A content audit and site cleanup plan is underway, with clear criteria for what gets migrated, revised, or retired.
  • The digital marketing team is functioning effectively - approvals are moving, stakeholders are engaged, and the team feels supported and led.
  • Marketing and Digital team alignment has measurably improved, with lightweight processes in place where gaps previously existed.
  • All ongoing digital marketing programs (paid media, email, social) continue to run smoothly throughout the coverage period.

Essential Program/Technology/Software Knowledge

Strong understanding of both traditional and headless CMS platforms, with the ability to evaluate trade-offs between options like Adobe AEM, WordPress, and headless solutions (Contentful, Storyblok, Contentstack, dotCMS).

Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

  • 7+ years of digital marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a CMS migration or major website platform transition from evaluation through execution.
  • Experience leading content audits, site remediation, and content governance initiatives.
  • Experience working with Marketo or comparable enterprise email marketing platforms.

Nice-to-Have Skills and Experience

  • Experience with headless CMS architecture and its implications for content teams.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing in a B2B or corporate communications context.
  • Change management experience, particularly in building process and governance where little exists.
  • Experience stepping into interim or contract leadership roles and ramping quickly.
