Position Summary

The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is responsible for developing, executing, and overseeing all marketing, branding, and growth strategies for the medical aesthetics practice. This role drives patient acquisition, retention, brand equity, and revenue growth while ensuring full compliance with medical, advertising, and healthcare regulations. The CMO partners closely with the Medical Director, CEO/Founder, and Operations leadership to align marketing initiatives with clinical integrity and business objectives.

Strategic Leadership

  • *• **Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business growth goals
  • *• **Own brand positioning across all channels (digital, in-clinic, partnerships, PR)
  • *• **Lead annual and quarterly marketing planning, budgets, and ROI forecasting
  • *• **Identify expansion opportunities (new locations, services, markets, product lines)

Patient Acquisition & Growth

  • *• **Drive new patient acquisition through paid media, SEO, social media, email, and referral programs
  • *• **Optimize patient journey from first touchpoint through long-term retention
  • *• **Develop loyalty programs, memberships, packages, and promotional campaigns
  • *• **Analyze patient acquisition cost (CAC), lifetime value (LTV), and conversion funnels

Brand & Content Strategy

  • *• **Oversee brand voice, messaging, and visual identity
  • *• **Lead content strategy for social media, website, email, and educational materials
  • *• **Ensure clinical accuracy and medical compliance in all marketing content
  • *• **Manage influencer, ambassador, and UGC strategies in alignment with brand standards

Digital Marketing & Performance

  • *• **Oversee paid advertising (Meta, Google, TikTok, etc.) with strict compliance oversight
  • *• **Optimize website UX, booking flows, SEO, and CRM integrations
  • *• **Lead data-driven decision-making using dashboards, analytics, and reporting
  • *• **Test, iterate, and scale high-performing campaigns

Compliance & Risk Management

  • *• **Ensure all marketing complies with:
  • *• **Medical board regulations
  • *• **HIPAA and patient privacy standards
  • *• **Advertising and testimonial laws
  • *• **Collaborate with Medical Director to approve clinical claims and messaging
  • *• **Implement internal review processes for ads, promotions, and patient communications

Team & Vendor Leadership

  • *• **Lead and manage internal marketing team (content, social, ads, CRM)
  • *• **Oversee agencies, freelancers, photographers, videographers, and PR partners
  • *• **Set KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and build scalable marketing systems

Qualifications

Required

  • *• **5+ years of marketing leadership experience (healthcare, aesthetics, or regulated industries preferred)
  • *• **Proven success driving growth for a consumer-facing brand
  • *• **Strong understanding of digital marketing, paid media, and performance analytics
  • *• **Experience managing budgets, agencies, and cross-functional teams
  • *• **Exceptional brand, storytelling, and strategic thinking skills

Preferred

  • *• **Experience in medical aesthetics, dermatology, plastic surgery, or wellness
  • *• **Knowledge of medical advertising and healthcare compliance
  • *• **Experience scaling multi-location practices or PE-backed brands
  • *• **Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Zenoti, Aesthetic Record, PatientNow, HubSpot)

Work Structure

Compensation

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
